鼻敏感與哮喘是互相架

[/color][/b]　　鼻敏感與哮喘都源於過敏體質，而過敏體質是遺傳的，要知道自己有沒有過敏體質，除了看看家族內有沒有患過敏病的成員外，也可以通過驗血測試免疫球蛋白E（IgE）。這些帶有過敏體質的兒童在出生時是沒有發病的，但是在成長過程中受到環境的影響，例如感染呼吸道病毒，或是環境有二手煙、塵蟎等，刺激病人發展成過敏症。過敏症發生在呼吸道的哪個部位則要看哪個部位受影響最嚴重，若是鼻孔受影響最大，就會出現鼻敏感；若是下呼吸道受影響，則出現哮喘。有些病人會兼具兩種病症，而兩種病不一定是同時發生，有些人在小時候只有鼻敏感，因為呼吸不暢順而用口幫助呼吸，久而久之，氣管因此受累，[b]所以鼻敏感的人日後患哮喘的機會增加[/b]。
