一顆精子在接受培訓，導師說：「當你聽到哨子聲響起，就要拼命向前游，你會穿過一條隧道，到達一個山洞，那裏住了一顆紅色的球體，你對她說你是精子，她會回答說她是卵子，那麼你倆就可以結合，成為胚胎了。緊記：一定要比其他精子都游得快，才能夠達到目標。」精子堅定地點頭。
當哨子響起時，精子正在睡懶覺，迷糊間他立即起身出發。他拼命的游，偶而回頭，發覺自己把其他精子拋離很遠，他很有成功感。
游了很長的路程，他終於抬起頭看到眼前出現一顆紅色的球體。精子興奮的說：「Hi，我是精子。」她回答說：「您好！我叫扁桃腺。」
