【本報綜合報道】日本情色產業蓬勃，女生投身AV界見怪不怪，但近日有業界人士爆料指，日本每二百個女人，便有一個是AV女優，更稱這驚人數字已是業界的「常識」。該名成人電影公司職員接受娛樂雜誌《周刊郵報》訪問時表示，日本國內年產三萬五千部AV，包括網上付費收看和製作成影像光碟，平均一日發行近一百部，同時每年會有二千至三千名女優新人初登場，累計曾演出AV的日本女性達十五萬人。目前日本有三千萬名介乎十九歲至五十五歲的女性，即是說，每二百人，便有一人拍過AV。該名爆料職員說：「這在業界經已是常識了。」
日本對AV女優需求甚殷，業界為找新臉孔無招不出，街道、學校甚至地震災區，都是AV星探發掘的地方。女性下海當AV女優，搵快錢固然是一大誘因，但亦不乏有情有義的故事。已引退的松島楓曾表示，當初為圓男友的電影夢，甘願下海當AV女優，並由男友執導。學校災區發掘新人
