日本擬向1萬名外國人提供免費機票[計劃]

《讀賣新聞》報道，當局將透過互聯網邀請有興趣人士參加計劃，申請者須詳細列出行程等資料，假如通過審核，政府將為他們提供免費來回機票，至於住宿等其他開支將由旅遊者自行支付。
獲邀參加計劃的旅遊者須撰寫遊記，在網上發表，他們還要參加問卷調查，向日本提出旅遊建議。
當局希望，透過旅遊者的親身體驗和正面信息，紓緩外國人對於到日本旅遊的憂慮。
觀光廳將要求國會撥款推行計劃，假如獲通過，將於明年4月起實施。
「311地震」及海嘯後的3個月，到日本的外國遊客人數按年下跌超過5成，到夏天跌幅略為收窄，到8月按年下跌3成2。
