益胃止嘔食芒果

芒果又名“望果”，即取意“希望之果”。果實橢圓滑潤，果皮呈檸檬黃色，味道甘醇。

芒果的營養價值很高，維生素A含量高達3．8%，比杏子還要多出l倍。維生素C的含量超過橘子、草莓。芒果含有糖、蛋白質及鈣、磷、鐵等營養成分，均為人體所必需。

中醫學認為，芒果味甘酸、性涼無毒，具有清熱生津，解渴利尿，益胃止嘔等功能。芒果特別適合於胃陰不足、口渴咽幹、胃氣虛弱、嘔吐暈船等症。芒果甘酸益胃，故古時漂洋過海者多購買它以備旅途急用，食之不暈船，堪稱果中神品。

芒果除食用外，還具有極大的藥用價值。患慢性咽喉炎、音啞，用芒果煎水，代茶飲用，可去炎消啞，使嗓音甜潤；取芒果2～3個，煎湯口服，可治療疝氣；芒果肉1～2枚，分早晚兩次服用，能治癒多發性疣，若取果皮塗擦患處，效果更佳。

營養小常識

芒果汁飲品不宜多喝

隨著飲食形式的多樣化，越來越多的芒果被釀成果汁直接飲用，但在生產中有的果汁含大量的添加劑，長期飲用含添加劑的果汁，對人體健康是極為不利的，因此在選擇果汁時要極為注意。
