使用香水十六忌
NO.1 切忌一“嗅”鐘情因為香水接觸肌膚後散發的氣味，只會維持十分鐘左右，隨後的中調和基調才是持續伴隨你的香氣，所以要在十分鐘內下決定。
NO.2 別人的香水不一定適合你
皆因每個人的膚質、體溫、習慣都不同，跟香水產生的化學作用當然不會一樣了。
NO.3 已噴了香水的話，就不適宜再在身體噴上香水來測試
什麼香氣都混合了，你還可以准確分辨嗎？
NO.4 別同時試超過三款香水
同時試超過三款香水，否則你的肯定無法把香氣如實報道。
NO.5 不要用力磨擦剛噴了香水的皮膚
不要用力磨擦剛噴了香水的皮膚，可能會引起皮膚刺激。
NO.6 切忌把香水噴在面上
香水中含有酒精會對皮膚產生刺激。
NO.7 不要把香水噴在皮草、毛衣上
不要把香水噴在皮草、毛衣上，香水的酒精成分會破壞這些質料，並留下痕跡，香氣亦會有所改變。
NO.8 不要把香水噴在白色的衣物上
不要把香水噴在白色的衣物上，否則可能留下淡黃色的污跡。
NO.9 不要在戴上飾物後才噴香水。
不要在戴上飾物後才噴香水。香水中的成分如色素、酒精、香精油會破壞珍珠表層，令珍珠變黃，而鑽石、金屬一旦沾上香水後，光澤也會受影響。
NO.10 盡量不要把香水噴在頭發上
把香水噴在頭發上，按理不會損害發質，不過香水始終含物質，還是少做為妙。不潔頭發上的污垢、油分混和香水後，也可能產生異味。千萬別讓香水接觸頭皮，以免造成刺激，阻塞毛孔。
NO.11 減輕腋下的汗味不能擦香水
想減輕腋下的汗味，只可以噴上止汗劑，不要噴香水，否則混和汗液後只會“強化”異味。
NO.12 日光浴後不要擦香水
香水中的酒精成分對日曬後的皮膚會構成刺激，所以日光浴後以至曝曬後最好別噴香水，或改噴不含酒精的香水。
NO.13 切忌開瓶後忘記把瓶蓋扭
香水開瓶後，品質一般可維持三年至五年。切忌開瓶後忘記把瓶蓋扭緊，否則會令酒精成分揮發，也會令香料氧化而變質。
NO.14 不要讓陽光直射香水
別讓陽光直射香水，以免落得香味和顏色都改變的下場。
NO.15 別在香水放在冰箱裡
把香水放進雪櫃，噴灑時會份外清涼？這想法不錯，不過只限colognes（古龍水）。別把香水放在雪櫃內，全因香水的成分較為珍貴。水蒸氣一旦滲進其中便會導致變質。
NO.16 別無故搖動香水瓶
